Crossing the Line

February 1 - 25, 2017

Artist Reception

Friday, February 3, 6 – 8 pm

“This group of paintings is titled “Crossing the Line” because it involved pushing myself to go beyond my usual way of painting, to explore the possibilities of painting without caution or fear. I believe that experimentation and exploration are essential to abstract painting. I begin with a concept and then allow the painting to guide me as I work. The title also symbolically represents my desire to move from the physical to the spiritual realm.” – Pamela Hassler
